Grandma's ruleThe grandmother and her glass
Summers in the village had their own ritual. Every time a spider appeared on the kitchen wall, there were screams, someone would climb onto a chair, and someone else would look for a slipper.
Until Grandma arrived. Unhurriedly, with a glass and an old postcard, she would catch the bug, take it out to the patio, and leave it in the geraniums.
“No one is killed in this house. Everyone stays in their place.”
